Drugs, Dodgy Dealing, Pants & Bolivia

Someone has stolen my little tin of magical delights. By magical delights, I mean the Jeep tin in my top desk drawer containing a small quantity of weed, skins, and broken up cigarettes.

I enjoy a quiet spliff now and then, who doesn’t, but this little tin has gone missing. Not the weed, not the cigarettes, but the whole tin. And I’m determined to know if it was a parent or a sibling who robbed me blind. If it was a parent, they’ve been awfully quiet about the whole affair. Either way, it’ll resurface…

I went into several head shops in Dublin yesterday, on the hunt for a Mushrooms grow kit. And the common element is that staff in all these shops look like the sort of people that beg for change at the bus stop when you’re in your Gestapo Jacket, listening to high quality audio, downloaded illegally on your 12megabit broadband, which is actually free. So there. The staff are all scruffy. If I can pull 40 euro together, I may just invest in one. The only thing is hiding a lunchbox full of white/grey soil in a massive sealed zip lock bag from mammy and daddy. Not the easiest thing in the world. And when the graphics from a dodgy 90s Nintendo game start to grow, and ultimately stink, how will I explain? Hmmmm.

I bought sexy underwear yesterday. I actually bought brightly coloured y-fronts, and I love them. Their so comfortable, and they emphasise certain features, which is awesome, not that I need it. Best part? They were 4euro each! There’s a glimpse of the red Y fronts on my flickr, as well as the tee AWESOME JUSTIN sent me :)

My cousin was in a bar in Bolivia, and these guys came in, let off tear gas and locked the doors. He managed to escape through a toilet window onto a flat roof, but then hundreds of people followed, and he thought it was going to collapse, so he lept to another rooftop, and he fell through, shattering his lower leg.

He went to the hospital, right. They x-rayed him, put his leg in plaster and sent him home. No pills, no crutches. They told him his insurance didn’t cover it. He’s since booked himself into a private clinic which is paid for by his insurance. So the public hospital treated him like shit.

The family saga is ongoing at the moment over it. My aunt could yet be flying to Bolivia, and 'I’m trying to be as helpful as possible to score an invite…

Kiss You Off – Scissor Sisters

Do you recon Bill Gates’ email address is Billgates@hotmail.com? And I’ve always wondered if Microsoft and Windows are the same company, or are they separate?

I made a horrendous decision gays, I fucking synced my mail with my phone. “1913 Messages, 0 unread”. That’s just blogger. Do you have any idea how long that took, how much space it takes up and how long it’s taking to erase them one by one because my phone can’t handle a mass delete like that? And it’s all from blogger.com, because both Jacks blog mail, and my blog mail, including comments all come in there.

Exams start tomorrow, and I am surprisingly calm. My hands are shaking, but that’s from the coffee excess, with thanks to starbucks’, little do they know!

I also put a new thing over at the right side, called Flick’r Me Twitter. Links to my twitter and flick’r pages, for the stalker in you! Everyone loves a good pry around someone else’s stuff, don’t deny it!

It’s fucking open season again as well. Last year, I made my views clear about them. And their back! It’s a fucking narrow bridge. It’s more ornamental, than anything else. But a group of 40 students gathering on it, like headless chickens, not moving out of the way of gruff dubliners cracks me up. I learnt that shouting ‘for fuck sake!’ at them makes them move or at least look at you.

Fuckin’ students….

Poker Face – Lady GaGa

Sibling went out on Wednesday night to watch the football. It’s now 23:44 on Saturday night, and he has yet to come home. I’m beyond worrying, it’s his career, his job, his health, his life.

But I swear, if he gets his girlfriend pregnant, I’ll never speak to him again. No way will a child be born accidentally to an alcoholic. I wouldn’t be able to stand it.

He’s being made move out by my parents. But I’m the only one that knows, so far. He’s in a full time job until the 4th of September, and they want him gone, because he’s never home, and that can’t go away at weekends because of him. He’s earning enough to rent a room somewhere, and the independence might grow him up a bit.

I’m personally delighted about the prospect, because it’ll relieve the tension around the house. My sister is moving to Belfast to do another college course, so it’ll just be me, but hopefully, I’ll be up north for the summer.

As y’all know, my parents have a house there. The Northern Ireland economy isn’t as bad as the Republic’s economy, so I’m job hunting in the big town where the house is. If I can get a job ANYWHERE, I’ll move up there and just work for the summer, scrape cash together!

Maneater - Daryl Hall & John Oates

Stress isn’t necessarily a bad thing, you know. I just need to keep the head down and study. That’s it. I really like the contrast in this photo:

I have a Logic3 i-Station. I bought it the summer of 2005, as a gift to myself after passing my junior cert. I had one of those horrendous 1st generation iPod nano’s. It cost me a weeks wages, and it only came in white.

CIMG2744

12.5 ohms, it was a savage dock. It’s seen me through so much travel, so many house parties, so many hours of music. It died today, and I’m actually sort of upset. Like I know it’s only a thing, but I’m sort of sentimental about it. And I’ve been looking online, and nothing seems to do the same job as it.

CIMG2746

It folds to the size of a netbook, and it as tough as nails, but everything now is made for home use, and anything portable either doesn’t support line in, or is made only for iPod.

CIMG2750

I”m going to buy myself a new one if I get a job, or some kind rich reader could buy me one? :)

Grey Room – Damien Rice

I’ve had a downer and a lovely shag in the last week. TomSkyHooker is the marvellous shag, and these poxy exams are the massive downer like. I know myself that I do not know enough to pass these. So I’ve sort of settled mentally on repeating them, come September 1st. Shit, right?

So all I’ve been doing is freezing my rocks off in this shitty weather, studying and waiting for life to start.

dull life=dull blog. Sorry guys! It’ll get exciting soon, I promise…
