Timeline

I get in the car with mother dearest:

9:57- Is that your music player? It’s very loud. Deafness runs in the family you know….

10:04- ….I’m always on at you and your sister. Deafness can be very isolating….

10:09- …you’re addicted to having those things in your ears. Their directly in your eardrum……

10:14- …What if someone is calling you, warning you…..

10:26- I don’t think you should use that thing(my mp4 player) any more….

10:34- …think about your health though, I’m begging you…

10:41- …you’ll see that I’m right when you’re older…

Crafty bitch got me in the car! I didn’t have a choice but to listen to her. She’s really getting on my wick today actually.

About 3 months ago, she left her charger in work, so I leant her my old one, no big deal. So last night my charger broke, and I needed my old one. So I go downstairs and take the charger off the table:

“Where are you going with my charger. I need that for my work phone.”

“This is mine. I leant it to you about 3 months ago when you forgot yours.”

“But I only have the one, I need that for work, you can’t take it.”

“Wait, you only have one. So you lost the charger I leant you.”

“No. Why can’t we share a charger?”

“So you lost my charger? I’m going away until Tuesday, what am I supposed to do?”

“Just charge it on Friday and leave the charger here.”

“eh, no. I need to charge my phone every day. I can’t believe you lost the charger I gave you.”

“I didn’t lose it, there’s plenty of them over there.”

No other charger fits.

Fucking hussy.

French, New Friends, & Shameless Spooning!

Sam here….

So what a Friday.

I get up Friday morning, right, and head to the clinic, to collect my test results. I’m told that the post hasn’t cone yet, so it’ll be about an hours wait, so I decide to shoot off to get cufflinks.

Ever hear of Appleby’s? It’s a seriously expensive shop, and I knew that. Thing is, when I went in, I went in the side door, and didn’t see the name above the door. So I’m looking at cufflinks, and ask how much they are. €750.

Well fuck me I got out of there. Went to Topman, and got a pair of Robot cufflinks for €15, which I love!

So anyway, back up to the Clinic and I get my results, all negative, as per usual! I then meet a friend of mine in Temple Bar, and I get a haircut in my favourite barbers.

After, We hit Jack&Jones, Topman, H&M, M&S, and I look for a pair of fabulous jeans for the night.

I get jeans and 2 gorgeous pairs of boxers, and we head to subway. I head home, and see my dad. He had an operation on his shoulder that morning, and they found that the muscle was wrapped around the bone, or something. So they cut the muscle, and shaved off some of the bone. They then sewed the muscle back together or something, but he’s grand now. He keeps trying to do things around the house, now that he has a month off work, and that oul’ floozy keeps telling him to rest.

So I get up, shower, iron my favourite shirt and lash on my new jeans. I’m going out with the people from a certain forum site I’m a member of. Long story, it’s a forum for gays in Dublin, and everyone is really nice. Every 2 months the site moderators book out a private function room and the site has a meet-up. One was last night.

I go to one of the girls’ houses first, to meet people for a few pre-drinks and just to arrive in a group! So I meet everyone, and just meet a few people beforehand. We jump in a taxi and head to Temple Bar, the Sycamore Club.

We arrive and the doorman is in the lift with the keys to the private floor. In Ireland you’re not allowed smoke indoors in public places, but we were on the top floor, and there was a huge piece taken out of the ceiling, so therefore, there was more open space than ceiling, making it outdoor. So people could smoke if they wished, while inside a bar. It seemed like a novelty, almost.

After about an hour, I meet this guy from the site named Brian, and he’s really nice. I was talking to him for ages, and we left there to go to Pantibar. When we were in Pantibar I threw the lips on him, and before I knew it, we were in a taxi back to his. He’s actually such a nice guy, and damn hot!

Once we were back at his, one thing lead to another. We did everything, but fuck. I mean everything within reason, but we never fucked. I don’t know why, it just never happened.

So I wake up this morning, with 5 missed calls from a combination of ‘Home’ and ‘Dad’, accompanied by texts asking where I am. I left yesterday without telling them I was going out for the night, where I was going, or who I was going to see! But how hard would that have been to explain?!

I roll home about midday, get the head chewed off me, and hop in the shower. By this time, my head is wrecked. Like truly wrecked, but being the trooper that I am, I carried on, and went to meet an old school friend in town.

I was horrendously hung-over. My sunglasses broke after Belfast. Town was filled with THE FRENCH. I fucking DESPISE the French with a passion. And the smell of garlic and arrogance was so overpowering!

So now. It’s almost 1AM on Sunday morning. I’m going to sleep. Night Night kids.

Titles Require Thought. This Doesn’t Sit Well With Me.

Sam here….

Well that was a crazy wednesday! So I got up and went to college! All fun and games and the like. We were finished at one because of the student protest.

The protest itself was interesting. Like really interesting. I met people from all the parts of my life on the streets of Dublin, shouting things like

“Fuck the fees, not your ma!”, “Batt O Keefe is a thief” & “Battman is robbin us!”

Batt O Keefe is the Minister for education here in the Republic! Their trying to re-introduce fees for all colleges, so we went protesting. I ran into Dar too yesterday. And like, when the protest was over, we sat in starbucks, and I pointed to a bus over his shoulder, and said “I should be on that”. Noticing the look on his face, I then said “wanna come with”. So we get back to mine, and both parents are in. We sit in the other room, and he kisses me.

You guys know where this is going, right?

Upstairs. Bedroom. Durex Extra safe. Spooning afterwards.

I then headed to Ventures, and out to Pantibar afterwards.

It’s been snowing here for like days. It never snows here, not properly, but today in college we had snowball fights. The novelty is wearing off. Like really wearing off. There’s sludge everywhere, all over the roads and paths. One is not amused, to say the least. I liked snow for about an hour. Then my feet got wet, the busses were delayed for an hour and people with umbrella’s happened.

I swear, I will cram that umbrella up your arse if you expect me to move out of your way. Selfish prick. The great thing about the snow is that the old people don’t dare leave the house, so I don’t have to fight for a seat on the bus. Not that I’d give them one anyway. You can stand over me and breath down my neck, and give me filthy looks all you like. I’m going to turn my MP3 louder (Bonnie Tyler, Tine Turner and Lady Gaga are flavour of the week btw) and ignore you. For my whole journey.

I Take Too Many Photos of Shite & Pure White Evil Is Coming To Get Me. How’s That For A Title?

Sam here….

So I’ve a bit of a photo lesson for you kids today:

To the two clowns above: It’s a fucking recession. While I’m walking along, flicking through my downloaded music on my new Sony Walkman NWZ-S639F, which I bought yesterday and am LOVING, I don’t want to hear whatever shite your pumping out on that accordion. And if you happen to penetrate my headphones or block my path, don’t be insulted when I say “do you take laser?, I don’t carry cash.” Suddenly I’m the bad guy. Well enough I say. Which links nicely to my next point.

“Pure White Evil”, known to most of you as snow is after me, and the rest of Europe, it seems. Woke up this morning and thought ‘ooh, snow. Cool, and sort of novel’. Stepped outside and was loving the crisp whiteness. And then I slipped, and almost fell flat on my face. And now I’m tempted to go around with a blowtorch belt, torching the ground around me as I walk.

Also, the kids from the slums seem to take great pleasure lobbing snowballs at busses. The little shites. Bring back capital punishment, I say.

Bah Humbug!

On Saturday, I had about 20 close friends over for drinks and the like, because my parents were away. So At the end of the night, I piled everything into a black sack and gave it to someone to dispose of it.

I was heading out yesterday,a rang him asking where he’d dumped the bag, because it wasn’t in sight. He told me to glance down a local lane.

I love easy solutions to problems. The house was spotless and there was no evidence!

Did someone say illegal dumping is a crime?!

News to me
